This new-build home, designed by The Building Workshop to resemble a traditional farm steading, was constructed using a combination of steel portal frame and timber. To minimise its visual impact, the rear of the house was built into the hillside.
The specification included an impressive open-plan kitchen and living area with a full height ceiling, as well as an air source heat pump and underfloor heating for efficient, modern comfort.
