Situated on the north side of Loch Tay, this project involved the transformation of a traditional steading into a modern two-storey home. The design, by Fletcher Joseph Architects, focused on maximising the building’s setting and outlook.
A new timber-clad upper storey was added to house the main living areas, carefully positioned to take in uninterrupted views across the loch. The pitched roofs and chosen materials help the new structure blend naturally with its rural surroundings.
As part of the works, a cladding storage shed was also constructed, designed to complement the main house in both form and finish.
